TMD Supply Chain Consultancy has developed a complete skills assessment process. This looks at various aspects of the Organisational, Business, procurement and Inventory & Materials Management environment / infrastructure, the process, the skills of the team and an assessment of personnel competency levels. Having applied the skills assessment process, TMD Supply Chain Consultancy will prepare a detailed report of the findings and outline key recommendations for training in accordance with outlined specification.

 

The ACCESS© process identifies and creates an objective operational plan which is designed to address any organisational and resource constraints within the supply chain.

 

Initially an assessment of the organisation’s operational needs will be produced following analysis of the processes and procedures through a series of questions to identify the key operational drivers, the level of knowledge and understanding and the level of application.

 

The competency and skills assessmentanalysis tool APPLY© is then used to analyse the results from ACCESS©, to provide an individual assessment of personnel involved in the Business, Procurement and Inventory and Materials Management activities.

 

This then is aligned to the organisations objectives, processes and procedures to show what the current skills profile is, what it should be for all personnel involved in the Business, Procurement, Inventory and Materials Management activity and how best they can add value to the business.

 

This process enables us to design a comprehensive “In-House” Business, Procurement and Inventory and Materials Management training solution for differing levels and roles that will close the skills and competency gaps identified in the assessment part of the process and provide the basis for the content development of the training programmes.

 

It also provides the framework for any post training evaluation as the process can be repeated to demonstrate the enhanced knowledge, understanding and competence of the function and the people.

Trainers would be allocated based on their specific skills, knowledge and style of delivery and a lead consultant developer and trainer would be highlighted for any identified requirement. The lead trainer would act as a single client manager responsible for:
